⁣मंद बुद्धि कहकर सभी जिस लड़के को चिढ़ाते थे, उसका नाम था रवि। गाँव के बच्चे उसे पढ़ाई में कमजोर समझकर अक्सर उसका मज़ाक उड़ाते थे।

एक दिन स्कूल में विज्ञान प्रदर्शनी की घोषणा हुई। सभी तेज़ छात्र उत्साह से तैयारी करने लगे। रवि भी भाग लेना चाहता था, लेकिन उसके मन में डर था कि लोग हँसेंगे।
शाम को उसने अपनी दादी से बात की। दादी ने कहा—
